Peter attributes his interest in genealogy to the bushranger stories he heard as a 4 year old at his great grandmother’s 100th birthday and to all the names in a family bible from 1875. There was also the uncle from Luxembourg who wrote the Aeroplane Jelly song and the French cousin after whom his late mother was named.

Peter started genealogy over 20 years ago, and has been a compulsive researcher since taking early retirement nearly 10 years ago. He is a volunteer member of of the Hornsby FHS
